Become a Foster Parent to one of our gorgeous orphaned orangutan infants.

Currently at the OFI Care Centre in Kalimantan there are 340 displaced or orphaned orangutans.

Here at Orangutan Foundation International Australia, we believe the OFI Care Centre is a vital part of the sometimes complicated plan to save these Great Apes. Without the OFI Care Centre, those three hundred apes would be homeless and most likely dead.

Raising money to purchase and protect the orangutans’ home, goes part and parcel with the invaluable and life saving work being done in the Care Centre. We think of it as a half-way house for orangutans, until they are old enough to be released back into the wild.

By becoming an Orangutan Foster Parent, you will help care for the displaced and orphaned orangutans at the OFI Care Centre and Quarantine (OCCQ) facility, during their rehabilitation back to the wild.

As a Foster Parent you will contribute to providing the medical, dietary and emotional care that the orangutans need to thrive.

Standard Foster Kits are $100.00 each. Please add $8.00 postage if you would like your standard foster kit posted to you.

Each Foster Kit includes an electronic kit about your orangutan including biographical information, a frameable certificate, photos and updates on their progress every six months.

Deluxe Foster Kit includes the standard Foster kit plus 35cm Rumba Orangutan Toy and postage/handling
